As part of its ongoing efforts under the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Public Health Center announces the establishment of a Central Chronic Diseases Registry

The Abu Dhabi Public Health Center (ADPHC), which falls under the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi, has announced the establishment of the Abu Dhabi Chronic Diseases Registry (ADCDR). The unified registry will monitor the prevalence of chronic diseases in the Emirate, whilst also identifying which of them are the most common as well as the risk factors associated with the diseases. The registry is set to improve healthcare outcomes in Abu Dhabi, by highlighting the most effective and appropriate treatments in addition to identifying ways to reduce complications for patients suffering from a chronic disease.
