From 16 to 365 Days. Every day is a step closer to a violence-free future

CDC Kenya is leading efforts to prevent and respond to gender-based violence faced by adolescent girls and young women. A CDC expert shares her inspiration for doing this work and a youth ambassador who supports prevention programming speaks out about how she is helping other young women to protect themselves against both violence and HIV. This video has been produced as part of CDC’s 16 Days Against Gender-based Violence, in which CDC seeks to highlight the individuals around the world who are helping to address violence.
